Traditionally the AVANCA has been the window of
what annually happens on the INPUT (International
Public Television Conference). This year once again
a space of the Meetings will take a relevant look
on what happened last May in Rotterdam. A selection
of 86 programs from 59 countries were screened and
discussed by TV programmers, producers and directors
from all over the world.
Each year INPUT gathers over a thousand professionals,
active participants in a discussion on present public
television.
With a quarter century tradition, the Rotterdam
INPUT has also marked the full beginning of Hansjurgen
Rosenbauer in the presidency of the “International
Board INPUT” he who also is responsible for
the German public television ORB (“Ostdeutscher
Rundfunk Brandenburg”).
Germany has had a fundamental part in the promotion
and continuity of the works developed in this conference.
As an associated member, the Goethe-Institut is
represented every year by several members who, spread
all over the world, establish in each INPUT a consensus
list reduced to 10 programs that they consider a
priority for a subsequent promotion.
The AVANCA'2002 will give this year a special attention
to this group of selected works.
