Documentary Photos Exhibition

"CINEMA IN THE SCHOOLS" took place during the school year 2001/2002 in several teaching establishments in the Aveiro District, in Schools of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Basic Studies, screening some of the best portuguese films. These sessions were animated by the presence of the directors of the screened films, searching to make young people sensitive to the national cinema.

Organized by Cine-Clube de Avanca and CAE from Aveiro (Ministry of Education) this project came in the sequence of the several screenings that CCA has been making in a sporadic way for the last years. ICAM (through the Program VER), the Centre Delegation of Culture, the Schools and some City Halls have supported this initiative.

The images of these screenings are now a last trace of the emotions running away through the exemplary movement of cinema.
